Well it’s been quite a while since I’ve posted. Due mainly to dino (you can thank him), I decided to finally post.
Anyhoo, onto the post. I personally thought today’s event was a big dissapointment; I was expecting more and better. I am neutral as far as the looks of the hi-fi, I am not in love with it but I don’t think it’s butt ugly. If it can absurdly insane quality that blows everything away, it may justify it’s price. Otherwise, it’s too expensive. I personally can use my computer as a stereo type thing, as all my music is right on iTunes. But it costs more than an iPod for crying out loud!!
The Mac mini was the bright spot of the event. Although the prices are raise I do believe they are jusitified, they did a lot to it to make it better.
The leather cases– no comment.
I think the Intel switch has been going well, and ahead of where I expected it to be. THe speeds (according to apple) are being raised absurdly! And the fact of Universal Binaries should be good. THe one dissapointment of it so far is that Adobe’s creative suite 2 will not come out to be universal. It could in theory push the Powermac (or whatever it will be called) back or else they could lose the graphic designers as they would want a good speed in the CS and not have to deal with Rosetta.
Glad to be posting again, hopefully many people will be reading it!

I agree with you on the iPod hi-fi stereo system. Unless the sound quality is mindblowing, then I don’t think there’s much use in such a product. But then, I don’t think they would release a product at such a price unless they were targetting it for that high-end market.
